*Senior Research Associate in Atmospheric Chemistry Modelling*

*School of Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia*

Applications are invited for a Senior Research Associate in the Centre
for Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at the School of Environmental
Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA). This is an exciting
opportunity for someone who is interested in the technical challenge of
modifying and running a 3D global atmospheric model and the scientific
challenge of understanding the changing chemical composition of the
northern hemisphere troposphere over the last 60 years.

Experience in atmospheric science and numerical modelling and ideally
hands-on experience with regional or global 3-D models (especially
UM-UKCA) is highly desirable for this post, although candidates are not
expected to be fully versed in all of these areas. Candidates with a PhD
in atmospheric or related sciences (or equivalent experience) are
encouraged to apply.

This is a collaborative project with the University of Cambridge,
involving staff from the National Centre for Atmospheric Science.

You must have a degree in atmospheric science or a related field and be
able to fulfil the essential elements of the personal specification.

This full time post is available from*1 November 2014*or as soon as
possible thereafter for a fixed term period of*3 years*.

*Closing date: 12 noon on 3 October 2014.***
