*Kleinfelder's Golden office is seeking an Air Quality Specialist*to 
design, plan and perform engineering duties related to air quality 
permitting, compliance, and/or modeling.  The primary responsibility of 
the position is to establish a focus on air quality impact assessments, 
such as emission inventories for stationary and mobile sources.  Other 
assignments include dispersion modeling; providing regulatory 
interpretations and technical advice to clients using effective 
communication techniques; working close partnership with customers to 
fully understand their business, in an effort to provide tailored 
expertise and technical support.  The position also includes duties to 
perform complex technical work to obtain air permits and ensure 
compliance with environmental requirements associated with natural gas 
gathering and processing operations; carrying out air quality 
assessments, including:  numerical dispersion and air shed, modeling, 
data analysis, and emission inventory development independently or as 
part of larger group.  The position is also responsible for performing 
field work that may include meteorological instrumentation set-up, 
calibration, data acquisition and analysis.

*Experience:*

  * Minimum 4-8 years of professional experience performing duties
    directly related to the application of air quality science within
    the oil & gas industry
  * Proven experience with oil & gas operations required
  * Technical accuracy, the ability to work efficiently and effectively,
    and have excellent communications skills is a must
  * Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

*Education:*

  * Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, natural
    resources management, or related field or equivalent combination of
    experience and education required. Masters Degree strongly preferred
