The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a
tenure-track appointment in its Department of Integrative Biology. We
seek an innovative scientist working in any area of ecology ranging from
organismal (any taxa) to ecosystems. We are particularly interested in
candidates who will contribute to core teaching in ecology, who
complement current research strengths within our Department, and who
employ novel approaches possibly spanning levels of biological
organization or transcending traditional disciplinary boundaries. In
addition, we are interested in candidates who will contribute to
diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their
teaching, research, and service.

The appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor level. A PhD is
required at the time of appointment. Applicants should send a single pdf

statement, teaching statement, and up to five reprints/preprints. The
