This is not a job, but is a terrific opportunity for a graduate student. I
did it and I highly recommend it.

in Washington, DC

Hello Becky!

It's the time of year when we at the AMS Policy Program gear up for the
annual Summer Policy Colloquium. That means we are reaching out to our
favorite people and our greatest asset - the alumni! That's right, we need
YOU to help us recruit a wonderful new class for 2014! You, better than
anyone, can distinguish the kind of person who will not only benefit from
the Summer Policy Colloquium, but who will actively contribute.

This year the Colloquium will be held June 1-10 at the AAAS Building and
Washington Marriott at Metro Center across the street. The deadline for
applications is March 31, 2014. So please think about who you know who
would add to the richness of the Colloquium and benefit professionally from
the experience. Kindly encourage those individuals to apply - send emails,
texts, Tweets... dare we suggest you pick up the phone? Then pass along this
link and the information below.

To keep this great program going we need to continue to have great people
involved. We look to all sectors of our community - universities, private
sector and government - to provide us with a new class of leaders.
Questions may be directed to Caitlin Buzzas at cbuzzas at ametsoc.org. We hope
you can help us recruit for the 2014 Summer Policy Colloquium!

Sincerely,

Ellen Klicka
