Two Postdoc Openings- Atmospheric CO2 Assimilation - Telecommute Optional

The Sierra Nevada Research Institute and the School of Engineering at
the University of California, Merced seek applicants for a
postdoctoral fellow position (telecommute optional). We are looking
for creative applicants who have experience in one of the following
areas: atmospheric modeling, data assimilation, trace gas measurement,
and land-surface modeling. The project is focused on quantifying
urban through global scale CO2 surface fluxes using atmospheric models
and measurements of CO2, carbonyl sulfide, and C14 in collaboration
with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. There are immediate
openings for two positions but the start date is negotiable. The
positions include opportunities for international collaboration,
career development, and research skill development with atmospheric
modeling. Contact Elliott Campbell
(http://faculty.ucmerced.edu/ecampbell3/,ecampbell3@ucmerced.edu) for
more information. The University of California at Merced is an
affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and is supportive of
dual career couples.
