The Center for Geosciences and Atmospheric Research (CG/AR) and the CloudSat Data Processing Center (DPC), two groups within the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) at Colorado State University, seek to hire a satellite data analyst and scientific programmer to support ongoing operations and research (office will be in Fort Collins, Colorado).

The individual in this position will acquire the required data sets from local and remote providers and develop the software required to read, manipulate, and analyze them.  He/She will then use these results to produce publications.  He/She will also use the software and techniques acquired and developed in support of the CG/AR and CloudSat DPC project goals.  In addition, he/she will assist others with data acquisition and the use of developed tools and techniques.  Travel may be required.
