ASSISTANT PROFESSOR SEDIMENTOLOGY/STRATIGRAPHY FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY

The Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Science is seeking
applications for a Ph.D.-level Sedimentologist/Stratigrapher to fill a
nine-month, tenure-earning appointment at the Assistant Professor level.
The ideal candidate will be able to combine field and quantitative methods
to address research in basin analysis, sediment transport,
sequence-stratigraphy, seismic stratigraphy and/or sedimentary
geochemistry.  Collaborative research with current departmental strengths
in marine geology, climatology-paleoclimotology, geochemistry,
hydrogeology, and structure/tectonics is encouraged.****

The position involves research, teaching (at the graduate and undergraduate
level, specifically in the areas of Sedimentation/Stratigraphy and Basin
Analysis) and service. Please send your letter of application, curriculum
