Applications are invited for a two-year visiting assistant professor of
Geosciences appointment at Towson University in the Department of Physics,
Astronomy and Geosciences starting fall 2013.  Teaching responsibilities
will include introductory courses as well as upper level electives related
to their field of expertise.  This position supports the Geology program
and a Ph.D. in a relevant area is required. Postdoctoral experience is
preferred.  Preference is given to candidates with a background in the
areas of hydrology/hydrogeology, geophysics, engineering geology,
mineralogy, or energy resources.  Applicants should send a CV, a one-page
statement on teaching philosophy, a one-page statement on research
interests, and three letters of reference electronically to: Dr. Steven Lev
