[Dart-users] NCAR Fall Power down Sat, 9 Oct

  hello dart users,

this is an 'fyi' that this saturday, 9 oct, will be the
semi-annual building shutdown at ncar.  besides
the supercomputers being down this also means
the dart subversion server, the dart web pages, the
dart wiki, and all ncar email servers will be down.

the official outage window is all of saturday,
6am to 6pm, but in practice many of the smaller
servers are shut down the evening (or afternoon)
before, and the supercomputers go down around
midnight.

usually they bring the machines back up sooner
than 6pm, but that depends on how the power
and cooling work in the machine room is going.
