[Cosmic_announce] FM2 temporarily offline for GOX firmware upgrade

Greetings:

FM2 data are unavailable starting 12/26/2006 while new firmware for the 
GOX is being uploaded to the satellite and verified.

The new firmware should allow more occultations to be tracked and improve 
the quality of rising occultations.

We will send out an announcement to this list upon sucessful completion of 
validation tests before turning FM2 product generation back on.
