Faculty Position in Space Physics, Department of Physics and Space Sciences
Florida Institute of Technology

The Department of Physics and Space Sciences at Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a permanent faculty position, beginning August 2015. This position is at the rank of assistant or associate professor, but higher ranks may be considered for senior or well-established candidates. While outstanding applicants from all fields of space-related research will be considered, we are particularly interested in candidates who can develop a world-class research program in the fields of solar, heliospheric, magnetospheric and/or ionospheric physics. Candidates with a background in plasma physics are also encouraged to apply. A strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required.
Florida Tech is located on the east coast of central Florida, just south of the Kennedy Space Center.
