Hi everyone,

I ran into the same problem raised by supanthapaul in this list years ago.
With the CLM surface module, the model crashes after 5 days claiming what
looks like a radiation budget error:

 BalanceCheck: solar radiation balance error nstep = 3375 point =
2 imbalance =   -0.101506 W/m2
 fsa          =    0.0000000000000000
 fsr          =    101.40470125865937
 forc_solad(1)=    27.332662582397461
 forc_solad(2)=    32.628475189208984
 forc_solai(1)=    28.982416152954102
 forc_solai(2)=    12.562653541564941
 forc_tot     =    101.50620746612549
 clm model is stopping

Do anyone have an idea of what could have caused this and/or how to fix it?
Physics are as follows.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Gabriel
