JP,
To be sure the right netcdf packages are installed, you can run:
aptitude search netcdf
You’ll need both the C and Fortran libraries installed. There will be a small i on the left of the screen if it is installed.
If it is installed, you can copy the package name and use the following to find the installed location:
dpkg -L <insert netcdf package name>
The geogrid error might indicate that netcdf was not installed and, therefore, geogrid was not properly built. In that case the command would not be found. Beyond that, not sure what it could be without more info.

Subject: [Wrf-users] Help needed for WRF on Ubuntu/Windows 10
Hi there,
I am having problems with setting up WRF on my personal PC. I tried to configure both WPS and WRF on it but it says that it cannot find the path to the NetCDF and I am unsure if netcdf is installed or not. Any ideas of how to do the proper apt-get install NetCDF so it would stop throwing the same error.
Also, I am getting an error with regards to geogrid.exe by saying command not found.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
JP Kalb
