[Wrf-users] Help needed

Hi All:,

 

I am trying to simulate surface temperature using the WRF/UCM model.

When I set the land cover data, I chose the “MODIS 20” option.

In addition, I changed the GEOGRID.TBL, and put one more item as below to incorporate NLCD 2011:

 

name=LANDUSEF

        priority=2

        dest_type=categorical

        interp_option = default:nearest_neighbor

        abs_path      = default:/mnt/cuec/comp6_3_project/project/WRFresults/high_resolution_urban/2011_SS/new.

 

After I run the geogrid.exe, ungrib.exe, and metgrid.exe, I check the output file  met_em.d03.2011-08-25_00:00:00.nc.

The variable LANDUSEF has 33 dimensions (MODIS 20 + urban land covers (31, 32, 33)). 

But the pixels in dimension 31, 32, and 33 are all 0. This is not correct, since the NLCD land cover data is not empty (0).

 

Does anyone know what happened to the settings in the WRF?
