[Wrf-users] Running WRF with Bucket_mm set ON

Hi all
I ran WRF for 3years with bucket_mm  set =100
I understand that rain is cumulative and is calculated like
Rainc=rainc+i_rainc*100
Rainnc=rainnc+i_rainnc*100
I get big values upto 3000mm per month yet when I multiply with a value
like 20 or 10 i get realistic patterns and values.
What is the use of bucket_mm?
I cannot repaeat the experiment since I was visiting scientist which I had
left the country.
Can I use any arbitrary value??
