[Wrf-users] Running WRFDA tools package for verification

I have plotted up the gts_omb_oma_01 data before but I had to first 
convert the ASCII files to netcdf.  I believe there is a script in the 
WRFDA tar file that will do this.  I tried to find it but was 
unsuccessful.

I am not an ncl expert, but it seems you are trying to use netcdf to read 
an ordinary text file gts_omb_oma_01.

Probably you should modify your script, and maybe this could be helpful

Yes of course. I need help regarding WRFDA tools for verification.
I want to run plot_gts_omb_oma.ncl, but i am  having:

fatal:NetCDF: Unknown file format
fatal:Could not open (/home/igri/WORK_DIR/gts_omb_oma_01)
(0)    Can not find the file /home/igri/WORK_DIR/gts_omb_oma_01  Will skip 
it

Could you please give me a workaround about it.
