[Wrf-users] Vertical grid stretching 2D Idealized simulation

Hello,

I am planning to perform some idealized simulations using the 2D-Hill test
case provided in WRF. After a few simple runs, I have seen that the module
init code doesn't accept eta_levels manually specified in namelist.imput
file. In addition, the levels created in module_initialize_hill2d_x.F have
near constant dz spacing. I am looking for a method to construct
higher (say a few 10 meters) vertical resolution at lower levels, and
coarser (say a few 100 meters) resolution at upper levels. So the grids
should more or less look like what is shown in this figure ->
