Dear Tabish,
do yourself a favor and try the tool reported here to provide your
automated WRF build:
http://hpcbios.readthedocs.org/en/latest/HPCBIOS_2012-92.html
The graph in the middle describes one such instance of a dmpar build.
fyi. nowadays the recommend open source build for newcomers would be
the goolf-based one.
(fix the netcdf version to what is your desired one as needed).
