[Wrf-users] Minimum requirements to initialise WRF?

Good morning!

 

I would like to use some GCM/CORDEX RCM output data to run WRF and get
higher resolution outputs. 

I've read that WRF need a GRIB1 or 2 format files to be initialised and
the appropriate Vtable to be able to locate the right variables and
levels. Is this correct?

 

However, I would like to know which are the minimum requirements in
terms of fields? Is there any limitation on the time resolution files?
