[Wrf-users] WRF WPP Wind u and v components

Hi there,
As I am to understand, WRF rotates earth winds to grid winds during the
simulation. However two variables in the output are sinalpha and cosalpha.
In order to rotate back the output u and v components to earth relative,
you have to use the equations found in the link I am including hereunder
