So an error with PGI:

PGF90-S-0166-module_comm_dm_3 cannot be a common block and a
subprogram (../frame/module_comm_dm.f90)

S 166 "$ cannot be a common block and a subprogram"

A name appeared as a common block name and a subprogram name. The
message is applicable only when an assembly file is the output of the
compiler.

Looks like a compiler issue, because neither common block nor
subprogram is named module_comm_dm_3 here!
