[Wrf-users] Fwd: Problem opening met_em_files

WRF Users,

I wanted to open met_em_* files to check the input variables(mainly u and v
at a particular region). I tried using both NCL and Grads to plot and
extract those variables after WPS but the errors below are coming.

NCL:

Extracted  u.nc first from met_em.d01.2009-04-01_00:00:00.nc
Then tried to plor using
gsn_csm_contour_map(wks,u({minlat:maxlat},{minlon:maxlon}),res)
Then the error coming:
fatal:Dimension (west_east_stag) of (u) does not have an associated
coordinate variable
fatal:Execute: Error occurred at or near line 65 in file extract_uv.ncl

GRADS:

ga-> sdfopen met_em.d01.2009-04-01_00:00:00.nc
Scanning self-describing file:  met_em.d01.2009-04-01_00:00:00.nc
gadsdf: SDF file has no discernable X coordinate.
