On behalf of the AMS Weather Analysis and Forecasting (WAF) Committee, I would like to remind you about the upcoming AMS Conference on NWP and Weather Analysis and Forecasting, to be held in conjunction with the 46th CMOS in Montreal from 29 May - 1 June 2012.  ---- Announcement for 46th CMOS and 25th AMS Conf on NWP and WAF ----

The 46th CMOS Congress (http://www.cmos.ca/congress2012/en/index.shtml) will be held 29 May - 1 June, 2012 in Montreal, Quebec, at the Hyatt Regency Montreal, jointly with the 21st American Meteorological Society (AMS) Conference on Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) and the 25th AMS Conference on Weather Analysis and Forecasting (WAF).

Please submit abstracts electronically to <https://www1.cmos.ca/abstracts/> <https://www1.cmos.ca/abstracts/>  between 12 January 2012 and the deadline of midnight EST, 17 February 2012. You will be asked to submit your abstract to one of the themes listed on the website and to specify your preference for either an oral or a poster presentation. (Poster submissions are especially encouraged: posters will be displayed in a spacious location close to where coffee is served, and at least three substantial prizes for posters will be awarded.)

An abstract fee of $50 will be charged at the time of submission. Your abstract will be evaluated by the Scientific Program Committee and you will be notified of acceptance by 2 March 2012. Details for your oral or poster presentation will be provided after 15 March 2012.
