Ehsan,

WRF accumulates precipitation from the day of the start of run. So to calculate daily precipitation you need to first add RAINC and RAINNC for 00 hours of day1 and 00 hours of day2 and subtract the value for day1 from the value for day2 or vice versa. Remember: WRF keeps accumulating rains as the run prograsses.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I added RAINC to RAINNC to calculate precipitation for my domain , and then
for each day , i took summation of every 6hour (00 06 12 18 )to estimate
the daily precipitation. do you think i am doing the correct way to
calculate precipitation? i think it is wrong because the simulated
precipitation has increasing trend while it  should be stochastic.
