[Wrf-users] Optimal schemes for LES

Good afternoon,

I am interested in running LES runs on a small domain in the Mediterranean
and have come across some problems when deciding which physics schemes
would be optimal to use. I am to understand that for the finer domain,
diff_opt should be set to 2, with an accompanying setting for km_opt of 2
or 3 and as a consequence cumulus and pbl should be set to zero. When it
comes to the other parameters such as Microphysics, LSM, surface and
radiation, I am unsure which would be best for such an application as the
difference amongst each seems sometimes minimal. Is there any setting which
is crucial for such an application?
