Metgrid problem-SST in ERA-Interim data (Satyaban Bishoyi Ratna)
Dear Satyaban,
I had the same problem when using ECMWF global analysis. I believe
this problem comes from a difference between WRF's and ECMWF's
landmask. To solve that I interpolated the original SST field (from
ECMWF grib file) over the entire domain, i.e, expanding the SST field
into the land. I used this resulting file as a secondary data input in
WPS. It worked just fine. Pls contact me if you need more details on
this procedure.
Good luck
Maria E. B. Frediani
