Hello All,

For the NCL function wrf_interp_2d_xy, the description states that values are extracted from points on a line specified. Does this mean that values are taken from the cells which the line passes through, or that values are interpolated based on the line's location? That is, if I choose a line which partially intersects two different cells adjacent to each other, does this function find the weighted average of the two cells, or simply extract the value from the cell which the line intersects more of?

Thanks,

Dave
