[Wrf-users] error executing wrfda with option cv3

We are   wrfda 3.1.1 with CV3 option and prepbufr file (ob_format=1 for 2010042600) but no radiance and no satellite data in a Linux pc X86_64 RocksCluster (version 5.3) with ifort(Version 10.1.018). The wrf real was run also for the date 2010042600 and the file be.dat was downloaded from http://www.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/users/wrfda/download/WRFV3.1-Var-testdata.tar.gz

The da_wrfvar.exe generates the observation summary but stops after the following messages:

 number of vertical level for stats =     89
 number of latitude           nlath =     59
 number of vertical level for WRFVar=     27
cv_options: 3 Reading error in unit=      26

*************************************************

We guess that the problem is asociated with the numbers of vertical levels in our wrf configuration namelist.input (e_vert =28) and in the file be.dat (stats = 89). We also suppose that the run crashes when reading be.dat  in the file var/da/da_setup_structures/da_setup_be_ncep_gfs.inc at line 196. However we can't solve this problem.

The following files are attached: wrfda namelist.input, ncdump.info from fg and WRFDA-Error-cv3 (da_wrfda.exe log)

Any help to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.
