[Wrf-users] WRF with reanalysis as inputs

Greetings.

I run a WRF model with forecast purposes for Santiago, Chile.
But now I have to make a simulation of December 2009, and I dont' have
input files for these dates.
The questions are.

¿Can I use reanalysis files for this (from
ftp://ftp.cdc.noaa.gov/pub/Datasets/ncep.reanalysis/pressure/) ?
¿What kind of processing I must apply to this data?
¿I need another datasets (like
ftp://ftp.cdc.noaa.gov/pub/Datasets/ncep.reanalysis/surface/) ?
