[Wrf-users] Differnence between WRFVAR and OBSGRID

Hi,

When i researching about differnece component of WRF, i have the following
question:

What is the differennce between WRFVAR and OBSGRID ?
>From the WRF user manual, i see that the input of the first guess and
observeration data (I use the observation data in the LITTLE_R format)
needed for both of the da_wrfvar.exe and obsgrid.exe. And from the process
flow from

>From WRFVAR

and

>From ObsGrid

I see the final output is to the WRF block. So what is the linkage between
WRFVAR and OBSGRID ?
