[Wrf-users] Portland Group vs. GCC benchmarks

Hi All,

Has anyone run any recent benchmarks comparing WRF's performance when  
compiled with gfortran and pgf?  Particularly, on x86_64 hardware with  
OpenMP and the latest compilers (4.4 and 8.0, respectively).

I also understand that the answers may be different between the two  
compilers, although members of this list seem to be using either  
compiler (with gfortran more common among those asking questions).   
Has anyone characterized the significance of these answer differences  
recently?
