[Wrf-users] R: verification - AMET tool

Hi Debra and Angel,

I installed AMET software too (yes...it took a lot of work!)
in order to evalute both WRF and air quality models.
As far as I know AMET is designed to query on line the MADIS system,
but I'm planning to use AMET over Europe. So, is there anyone having
experience in interfacing AMET with other meteorological database
than MADIS?

Hi, Angel:

I am planning on using the Atmospheric Model Evaluation Tool (AMET) from
CMAS (http://www.cmascenter.org).  It was designed for CMAQ (air quality)
verification and works on WRF. I haven't finished installing it yet (the
installation is a real pain because it requires so many other programs to
already be on your system). I can send you more information once I get it
