Dear wrfhelp/wrf-users:

I am trying to run WRF-ARW using GRIB2 NAM data from NCEP.  An example file is:

ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/data/nccf/com/nam/prod/nam.20070919/nam.t12z.awphys12.grb2.tm00

I believe these files contain all the first-guess data necessary to run the model.
However, ungrib.exe is failing to extract SKINTEMP, which is causing metgrid.exe
to fail.  I am tinkering with a VTABLE file based on VTABLE.NAM, but I have not
yet found a solution.  Has anyone successfully processed these files with WPS?
