[Wrf-users] WRF-NMM IJK storage data order

I am attempting to switch the storage order state variables prescribed in the WRF-NMM Registry from the IKJ default to IJK. After making the changes in the Registry Dimspec entries and State entries, I compiled and ran WRF using a canned case which works using the IKJ arrangement and receive the message:

Warning READ PAST EOF in ext_ncd_read_field of QVAPOR 111 > 33
0 rsl error ("rsl_io.c":323) rsl_read: global len of K dim is greater

The error is traced to the RSL_READ procedure invoked in wrf_global_to_patch_generic. Apparently, an erroneous value of associated with storage order is being computed and passed onto the read procedure. Has anyone encountered this problem before in attempting to switch 3D state array data storage orders?

Thank you,

Edward Colón
