Many of you have been preparing data, models, products, tools, and resources in anticipation of the workshop.  One of the goals of the workshop is to produce a “mosaic” of the WHPI system, by producing complementary representations of data and models that allow us to trace structure from the Sun through the heliosphere and planets.  This is not a trivial challenge!  Therefore, Ian Hewins and I will be hosting a “Data Collection Day” on September 13.  We will be meeting online to review the data and models that have been submitted, answer question about data access and tools, and get started on the WHPI mosaic.  All are welcome to participate in “Data Collection Day,” a more complete description will appear on the meeting website soon.
If you do have a data, model, tool, or other resource that you have prepared, we will provide a data and model portal that connects users to all of your assets!!  If you do not have a place (website or repository) to serve your resource, please contact us directly at whpi.data.models at gmail.com<mailto:whpi.data.models at gmail.com>   If you *do* have your resource in an accessible location, please enter it into the portal!
To populate this portal, we have a form for you to fill out.  Note:  In order to cover all of the assets that you have told us about, the form is pretty long.  We did this to be sure that you it covers everything you may want to share – most fields are not required.  Attached is a PDF of the form elements so you can scan it and see what fields apply to you.  Be sure to provide feedback at the end of the form if you aren’t sure where to enter something.  We will improve the descriptions based on your feedback.
