As you are aware that we will be moving  /hao  file system today starting at 
13:00 hours.

The file system will be changed to be read only and once the data has been all 
moved over to Bluevista these file systems will be unmounted from all the supers 
including Bluesky and then made available as a GPFS file system on Bluevista and 
from where it will be mounted back on the rest of the supers (including Bluesky) 
as an NFS file system preserving all the data, permissions and ownerships.

 Due to the nature of the work we will be unable to give you a timetable as 
exactly when I will start un-mounting the file system so please be advised to 
avoid all access to the above  file systems starting Saturday 0800 to until I 
send out a notification about the status of the file system data move.

 We are very confident that we will be able to make the file system fully 
available to the users by 0800 hours on  Monday August 21, 2006 possibly even 
earlier.
