[Stoch] Turcotte Award

Hi, all,

   As usual, I'm behind, but I must mention an award given by
the Nonlinear Geophysics Focus Group (NG) of AGU.  It's for an
outstanding PhD dissertation during the last year that directly
contributes to nonlinear geophysics.  Please note that studies in
stochastic systems are considered by NG.  Details may be found
