The following news article has been posted by the CISL Research Data Archive at NCAR:

"Globus transfers unavailable Saturday April 18"

The NCAR server used for Globus Online file transfer authentication will be
taken down on Saturday April 17 at 05:30 AM for the semiannual Mesa Lab computer
room power down. This will affect any Globus file transfers requested for
customized RDA data requests. Any Globus Online file transfer sessions that were
started before that time will continue without interruption. It will not be
possible to initiate new GridFTP file transfers until Saturday afternoon.
