Climate Change Research Faculty Positions at Purdue University

Purdue University announces a search for three tenure-track faculty
positions, at any level, as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary
initiative in Climate Change Research between the Schools of Science and
Agriculture at Purdue. These positions are part of an integrated =
campuswide
initiative to continue our enhancement of excellence in climate change
research and the Purdue Climate Change Research Center. This =
University-wide
initiative will be supported with subsequent hires in the areas of
biogeochemical cycles modeling; cyberinfrastructure and climate; =
aerosols,
clouds and radiation; climate change ecological impacts, agriculture and
health effects, and aquatic microbial biogeochemistry.

Biogeochemical Flux Measurements: Applications of flux measurements of
radiatively active gases to Climate Change science issues.  Scientists
involved in stable isotope ratio measurements and methodologies applied =

gas fluxes are encouraged to apply.

Regional Climate Modeling: Development and application of models to =
study
global climate change impacts on regional scale climate and weather.

Regional Scale Climatology: Investigation of regional weather trends in =
the
Midwest. The successful candidate will serve as the State Climatologist =
of
Indiana. Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. and experience and
interest in both teaching and research in an appropriate area related to
