Post Doctoral Positions in Regional Atmospheric Modeling.
=20

The atmospheric modeling group of the Waterloo Centre for Atmospheric =
Sciences (WCAS) has two new positions available at the Post Doctoral =
Level. The current WCAS modeling group consists of six post doctoral =
fellows and graduate students. We work closely with modeling groups at =
the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and several Canadian private =
sector partners. The major modeling tools used by the WCAS are MM5 and =
the Models-3/SMOKE/CMAQ system, and familiarity with the latter is =
required for these positions. The responsibilities of the successful =
incumbents will include model development and the use of the Models-3 =
system in the study of the effects of long range transport on air =
quality in the Southern Ontario region. Further information on the =
technical aspects of the work may be obtained from Professor J.J. Sloan, =
WCAS Research Director (http://www.science.uwaterloo.ca/~sloanj).

=20

The WCAS is located at the University of Waterloo =
(http://www.uwaterloo.ca/) in the Kitchener-Waterloo urban area =
(http://win.uwaterloo.ca/win/), which has a population of approximately =
250,000, and is surrounded by a pleasant, mostly agricultural, rural =
region.

Applicants should forward a CV and letters of reference by 31 May, 2003 =
