We are happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2024 Early Career Leadership Program (the ECLP). Description: 25 early-career staff at NSF NCAR will engage in a leadership development program that includes topics such as: the principles of leadership, coaching others, developing project talking points, overcoming obstacles in publishing, and effective communication. An additional goal of the program is to foster networking among early-career participants. The program will run from Feb. 1 - Mar.15, 2024, with both virtual and in-person components. Eligibility: Applicants must have been employed at NSF NCAR|UCAR|UCP for at least six months, and be within 12 years of their highest degree or identify as being "early career." Employees in *any job category* are welcome to apply, although preference will be given to those in scientific or technical professions. Application deadline: Jan. 15, 2024. Apply here Part 1: Online sessions with Zoom (mandatory) Wed, Feb. 21st, 10:30am - 12:00pm MT Tues. Feb. 27th, 10:30am - 12:00 pm MT Tues.
