<p class="MsoNormal">We have been using NCAR EZMAP output in CGM for almost 2 decades. We now need to switch to SVG format because Microsoft has dropped any support for the CGM format.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">In my program, I output image coordinates derived from MAPTRN calls to an ascii file and read in the image coordinates for cities on my output map using a Powerpoint macro. Unfortunately, the cities plotted, in relation to the SVG map
are incorrect. The center city looks to be plotted correctly but cities away from the image center seem to be off.

<p class="MsoNormal">Toronto is in the center of the map. Montreal is off center. You can see the correct point for Montreal, printed with the red bordered point in the FORTRAN program and the point plotted by the PowerPoint macro using the coordinates written
from the same MAPTRN call from within the program. The 2 Montreal dots do not align.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">My question is: Is the SVG file output scaled inadvertently by default? Are there calls which would affect this?<o:p></o:p></p>
