I am trying to re-interpolate CMIP6 latitude/depth data such as msftyz from native latidude-grids to regular latidude-grids. The problem is that the ESMF functions and the like require latidue-longitude grids, but my data has only latitudes. Any ideas
on how to re-interpolate from native latitudes to regular?
