[ncl-talk] reading files hosted online

Hi!
Is it possible to read files hosted on an ftp server or website from inside
ncl script?
I get following error:
syntax error, unexpected WORD_WORD, expecting SCAN_ATTR or SCAN_DATASET or
SCAN_ERROR
