[ncl-talk] Error in reading an HDF-EOS5 Point file from NSIDC

[HDF-EOS Tools and Information Center Help]

  We are running NCL on 20.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 20.5.0: Sat May  8 05:10:33 PDT 2021; root:xnu-7195.121.3~9/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64.
NCL was installed by conda [1] using miniconda3.

We will try different platforms and build from source as well.

Hi,

I am not getting those errors and NCL seems to read the file just fine.  I have built NCL 6.2.2. from source, and used the HDF5 1.10.6 library to build it, which appears to be the version used in your NCL instance. This is on a Mac.

What platform are you on, and how did you obtain your NCL?
