Hi,
You might be able to get what you want from cd_calendar:

It does have a "noleap" option, but you might need to do a little programming to make it produce what you need.

Hi NCL-Talk,
I am attempting to create a date in my 34 year daily streaming file for docn in CESM.
My simulation does not have leap years.
I found the function:
yyyymmdd_time
https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Contributed/yyyymmdd_time.shtml
However, when I execute this function, it produces leap years. Is there are yyyymmdd_time that does not produce leap years?
Cheers,
-Jonathan
