[ncl-talk] No leap year

Hi NCL-Talk,

I am attempting to create a date in my 34 year daily streaming file for docn in CESM.
My simulation does not have leap years.

I found the function:
yyyymmdd_time

https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Contributed/yyyymmdd_time.shtml

However, when I execute this function, it produces leap years. Is there are yyyymmdd_time that does not produce leap years?
