[ncl-install] Abort when trying to run ncl

Hello NCL users; new to this application.

I thought I did a successful install; I am getting a prompt

(ncl_stable) LEE-165091:~ stepheneschwartz$

but when, as instructed by http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/, I enter ncl -V

I get error message

dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/X11/lib/libcairo.2.dylib
  Referenced from: /Users/stepheneschwartz/miniconda3/envs/ncl_stable/bin/ncl
  Reason: image not found
Abort trap: 6


using Terminal on MacOs Mojave 10.14.6 in case that matters
