Dear Piotr,I didn't use conda, instead I installed NCL with following guidance:https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/install_from_binary.shtml
and it was really simple to me. I've downloaded NCL for CentOS from this link:https://www.earthsystemgrid.org/dataset/ncl.662.dap/file/ncl_ncarg-6.6.2-CentOS7.6_64bit_gnu485.tar.gz

I hope it could help you.SincerelyEhsan On Monday, December 23, 2019, 10:55:48 AM GMT+3:30, Piotr Flatau via ncl-install <ncl-install at ucar.edu> wrote:

 Guys,

why do you make the ncl forum so complicated to access?

It is the second day I am trying to install  NCL on LINUX.

I had to move to 64 bit UBUNTU.
Once on 64 bit Ubuntu I  was able to install conda but no additional
packages including NCL.

I moved to Centos and was able to get conda and install NCL, but now I  get

ncl -V produces
ncl: error while loading shared libraries: libnsl.so.1 cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

and can not examine if similar problem was alread encountered by others.
