Hi Lawrence,

You can likely ignore these errors, unless you explicitly need to use the
NCAR Graphics libraries to link against your own custom C/fortran codes, or
if you want to call custom C/fortran codes from NCL using the WRAPIT
functionality.   That said, I don't know specifically why the errors arise,
other than it must be some discrepancy between the versions of fortran and
cairo on your system versus those used to build that NCL distribution.

Write back to the list if you need to pursue this further, and please
include the info reported if you enter the two commands:

gfortran -v

uname -a
